We previously know that stress and pollution wreak havoc on our tresses; however, we don’t understand that certain foods are also willing to hair fall and hair reduction. While people generally associate hair obstacles with stress and genetics, another great part is diet. It’s fair to say that a poor diet can worsen hair or promote up hair loss. Let’s take a look at foods that you must cease for the benefit of your hair.

1. Sugar

Yes, the complex threat is just as bad for your hair as it is for your overall health. A diet rich in SFA’s and MUFA’s can raise testosterone levels, which potentially increases the levels of DHT hormone. DHT is an androgen that is related to alopecia. Eggs are excellent for hair, but they should not be eaten raw. Raw egg whites can build biotin deficiency, the vitamin that helps in the creation of keratin. The avidin that is there in raw egg whites combine with biotin and hinder its intestinal absorption.

High levels of mercury can lead to unexpected hair loss. The most common root of mercury exposure is fish, as methyl-mercury in fish has grown over the past few decades due to weather changes and overfishing. Sea fish like swordfish, mackerel, shark, and some types of tuna are plentiful in mercury.
